Magazinović: If Lagumdžija is dismissed, SDP will leave government, and BiH will be without the Council of Ministers!

If Zlatko Lagumdžija, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, is dismissed, all Social Democratic Party cadres will withdraw and open space for someone who has a parliamentary majority, if such exists, stated Saša Magazinović, a Member of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, for the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

A session of the BiH Parliament has been scheduled for Thursday, which will discuss the initiative of the Alliance for Better Future – Fahrudin Radončić to dismiss Lagumdžija and the Minister of Defence Zekerijah Osmić. However, Magazinović claims that the SDP has not spent much time on this threat, even after the SDA announced that it would support the SBB's request.

- The SDP is clear, if Lagumdžija is dismissed, all SDP members will withdraw and open space for others. The initiative itself is pre-election and unserious. The SBB initiated it for reasons known to them, but these people must be aware that they are playing with the state. Because, if Lagumdžija and Osmić are dismissed, the Council of Ministers of BiH will be left without Bosniaks and will practically cease to exist. I am not optimistic about how a new Council of Ministers would be formed then – says Magazinović.

Speaking about whether he considers the SBB, which initiated the process, or the SDA, which announced its support, more responsible, Magazinović says everyone bears their own responsibility.

- The SDA is not in a position to choose people for the SDP. I think the SDA has great responsibility, especially knowing what consequences could arise if dismissals occur – adds Magazinović for NAP.
