Lottery of BiH: 20,000 BAM for scholarship recipients of the Association 'Education Builds BiH'

By signing the contract between the Lottery of BiH and the Association „Education Builds BiH“, funds were secured for scholarships for 20 pupils and students in 2017. The scholarships for pupils and students were presented by Edhem Pašukan, director of the Lottery of BiH, Patria reports.  

The Lottery of BiH is celebrating 65 years of existence this year, and on this occasion, 20 scholarships for students and pupils were ceremoniously awarded at the company's headquarters. The scholarship project was realized in cooperation with the Association „Education Builds BiH“. 

The award ceremony and contract signing were attended by Jovan Divjak, executive director of the association, and Edhem Pašukan, director of the Lottery of BiH. The scholarships are awarded for one academic year, and for these purposes, the Lottery of BiH allocated funds in the amount of 20,000 BAM.

-This very significant 65th anniversary marks the successful business and development of the Lottery of BiH. We believe that at this moment it is extremely important to invest in education, and therefore, in cooperation with the Association Education Builds BiH, we decided to provide scholarships for twenty pupils and students.

In this way, we sent a message to young people that there are companies in society that have responsibility for their future. The Lottery of BiH has previously cooperated with the Association Education Builds BiH, and this is a continuation of our socially responsible activities in the field of education - stated Edhem Pašukan.

Jovan Divjak, executive director of the Association, briefly addressed those present and, on behalf of the Association, congratulated the Lottery of BiH on its 65th birthday and thanked them for the allocated funds.

-I thank the Lottery of BiH, which recognized the importance of investing in the education of young people. This is just a continuation of our cooperation, as the Lottery of BiH has also allocated funds for scholarships for students and pupils through our association in the previous period - stated Jovan Divjak, executive director of the Association „Education Builds BiH“.
