Luis Figo at lunch with Mayor Skaka

(Patria) - Legendary Portuguese footballer Luis Figo arrived in Sarajevo today, and in the afternoon had lunch with the Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka in a Sarajevo restaurant.

Figo arrived at the International Tour Operators Meeting at Skaka's invitation.

The City of Sarajevo is hosting the 1st International Tour Operators Meeting "Meet Up Sarajevo" from March 28 to April 1.
The idea of the conference is to gather influential tour operators and travel agencies and present them with the tourist offer of Sarajevo and BiH, and to help local agencies and tourism workers to directly connect with international companies to conclude new contracts and make the city of Sarajevo an even more attractive tourist destination.

In 2001, Figo was named the best player in the world, and in 2006 he was selected for the ideal team of the World Cup in Germany. He was named the best Portuguese player six times. Figo is one of FIFA's 100 greatest living players.

He played 127 matches for the Portuguese national team and scored 32 goals. He won second place at the 2004 European Championship in the national team jersey.
