SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Ljiljana Lovrić opened today the "Regional Symposium on Air Quality Planning in Cities" in Sarajevo.
The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH is the patron of thematic regional symposia organized by the Association of Consulting Engineers of BiH (UKI BiH). This year, a two-day Regional Symposium "Air Quality Planning in Cities" is being held in Sarajevo.
The lecturers at the symposium are experts from BiH, neighboring countries (Serbia, Croatia, etc.), as well as from EU member states (Austria, Slovenia, etc.), and representatives of the academic community, institutions in BiH, and representatives of international institutions (World Bank, Swedish Environmental Agency, etc.), the Ministry announced.
In her opening address, Lovrić highlighted the importance of the Strategy for Approximation of Regulations to the EU Acquis in the Field of Environmental Protection of BiH, the so-called EAS BiH, which was adopted by the Council of Ministers of BiH in May 2017.
Lovrić emphasized that the Ministry coordinates the implementation of two significant projects concerning the improvement of air quality.
