Lord Peach with Komšić: Unambiguous support of the United Kingdom for Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - The Chair of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, met with the Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for the Western Balkans, Lord Stuart Peach.

The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the adoption of the Decision on the appointment of the General Corps of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the session of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, held yesterday, which created the prerequisites for the continuation of the normal and lawful work of this important institution.

Lord Stuart Peach emphasized the commitment of the Government of the United Kingdom to continue supporting the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as activities aimed at maintaining peace and stability through the participation of British officers in the work of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, and support for the EUFOR mission through the so-called "Berlin+" arrangement.

The interlocutors noted the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as the unambiguous support of the United Kingdom for the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
