SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Football club Chelsea is the winner of the Champions League for the 2020/21 season.
The London Blues were better than Manchester City in the final and with a goal by Havertz in the 42nd minute of the match they came to their second title of the best team in Europe.
UEFA officials after the Champions League final match presented the European champion trophy to the Chelsea team.
Although they were not considered the favorite in the final match, Chelsea players completely deservedly outplayed City and with a goal by Kai Havertz became European champions for the second time.
On the City players, during the awarding of silver medals, it was visible that they were not satisfied, and numerous footballers did not even hang the silver around their necks. However, coach Pep Guardiola wholeheartedly congratulated the new European champions.
The first man of UEFA, Aleksander Čeferin, awarded gold medals and the trophy to Chelsea players, after which a great celebration began.
