Ljubojević: Goal is to select a coach by New Year

After the session of the Executive Board of NSBiH at which Safet Sušić was dismissed, the coach of the senior national team of BiH, a press conference was held where Darko Ljubojević, Jasmin Baković and Ivan Beus addressed the media.

- The Executive Board unanimously decided to dismiss Sušić. It was determined that the achievement of the goal, which is qualification for EURO 2016 in France, has been brought into question. Sušić was unanimously relieved of his duties as coach, and the Association thanks him for his professionally done work - said Jasmin Baković, Secretary General of NSBiH.

Darko Ljubojević, Vice President of NSBiH, said that a commission has been formed which will propose candidates for the new coach and submit them to the Executive Board.

- We have not yet spoken with potential candidates, the coach explained the situation and that is it. The goal is to select a coach by New Year, and candidates by December 1st - explained Ljubojević.

After that, Ivan Beus, President of the Working Group of NS BiH, also addressed those present.

- After the decisions, we started a new project to improve the atmosphere in the national team and achieve qualification for EURO - added Beus.
