Lizde: No room for panic, pensions will be paid no later than tomorrow

Amel Lizde, head of the Public Relations Office of the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, confirmed to the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP) that the payment of July pensions has been extended by several days, but that all pensions in the Federation of BiH will be paid during the day, or no later than tomorrow.

Lizde said that many pensioners have been frightened in recent days because some media outlets have circulated information that there is no money in the budget for pensions, which would lead to a major delay in payment, but claims about an enormous delay in pension payments, he says, are not true.

- The Institute previously announced that the payment of July pensions would take five days, thus slightly longer than before, but there is no room for panic - said Lizde.

- We have indications that the dynamics of pension payments in the coming months should be much faster, added Lizde, NAP writes.
