Top 10 List: Who Earns the Highest Salary in Republika Srpska

A Banja Luka resident working in professional, scientific, and technical activities is the record holder for earnings in RS, pocketing 12,701 KM in October, ATV reported, as conveyed by the Patria News Agency.

The top ten list of salaries in RS based on employment relationships was compiled based on declarations submitted to the Tax Administration of RS. It showed that employees in the field of finance and insurance earn the most, occupying as many as four positions among the top ten.

When it comes to cities, Banja Luka dominates with eight representatives, while only one person from Trebinje and one from Prnjavor managed to make the list.

After the record holder is a resident of Trebinje, working in financial and insurance activities, with a salary of 10,242 KM.

The third and fourth positions are held by residents of Banja Luka, also working in finance and insurance. One of them earned 8,265 KM in October, and the other 7,999 KM.

In fifth place, with a monthly salary of 7,499 KM, is a resident of Prnjavor working in the manufacturing industry, earning only 27 marks less than him is a resident of Banja Luka working in the same field as the top earner from his city. The seventh position went to a Banja Luka resident who earned 7,278 KM in the finance and insurance sector, and the eighth to his fellow citizen from the construction sector with earnings of 6,955 KM.

In the last two positions are employees working in representative offices of foreign companies. One of them collected 6,249 KM in October, and the other 6,202 KM.

The top salary list showed that employees in the field of finance and insurance earn the most, occupying as many as four positions among the top ten.
