Art colony gathered 30 artists from BiH

The first art colony organized by NGO "Naš most" and MerisCon was held in Zenica. Around 30 artists from Zenica, Sarajevo, Kakanj, Livno and other cities gathered to socialize and create, reports a reporter from the Patria News Agency.  

-This colony has been planned for half a year and it all started spontaneously. I am originally from Mrkonjić Grad but I live in Frankfurt, I am currently on vacation. I want to dedicate the colony to my late son who was also involved in art, Hari Maslić, one of the colony organizers, told us.

 

Everyone who was near Maslić's house could enjoy the art that BiH artists created today. Various types of art could be seen today, from weaving with corn husks, spray art, to painting with an iron.

-What adorns our artists is resourcefulness, creativity and improvisation. They know how to create, they make something perfect out of nothing, Maslić concluded.
