Good news from Mostar: Construction of Lana's pool has begun

(Patria) - Construction of the Olympic pool in Mostar has finally begun. This information was shared on social media by Mostar City Council member Adil Šuta.

"Today, construction of the Olympic pool in Južni logor has finally started. The contractor is currently working on site preparation.

Many were skeptical that work would ever begin, but although slowly, that day has finally come. I am glad to have been part of the team that initiated and launched the construction, because on our initiative in 2021, initial funds of 120,000 KM were secured for the development of project documentation.

We expect the City of Mostar, the Canton and the Federation to provide the remaining funds in 2024, so that it can be completed within the planned deadline," wrote Šuta on his Facebook profile.
