Kind gesture in Konjic: Congregation surprises imam with a new car

(Patria) - The evening prayer (Isha) held this week at the City Mosque in Konjic will be long remembered.



The mosque, full of men, women, and youth, witnessed a touching surprise prepared by the congregation for their imam, Ensar-ef. Zalihić, and his family, reports Preporod.info.

The congregation, primarily attendees of the Quran study circles (Halka), as well as numerous friends from Konjic and beyond, secretly initiated a campaign with the strong desire to ease the daily lives of the family who have dedicated their lives to serving the community.



The result of this campaign was a newer car parked in front of the mosque, which will now be at the service of the imam, his wife Azra, and their children.

When Ensar-ef. Zalihić realized what his congregation and friends had prepared for him, emotions overwhelmed him.



Tears of joy and disbelief on the imam's face, the delight of his children, and the dignified joy of his wife Azra filled the mosque courtyard with a warmth rarely seen.
