Lijanovići attempt to take over Agrokomerc

If the Municipal Court in Velika Kladuša allows the Lijanović group to take over Agrokomerc's food processing plants worth more than 21 million KM at the end of August, it will be one of the biggest robberies in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the country's recent history, reports the news agency Patria.

Patria's sources claim that due to a debt of around 500,000 KM owed by Agrokomerc to Lijanovići, Lijanovići are now supposed to take over Agrokomerc's entire food industry, where nearly 200 workers are currently employed in processing cucumbers and producing biscuits.

Together with Lijanovići, Triglav osiguranje is also trying to take over Agrokomerc's assets from the state!

Agrokomerc's debt to Lijanovići was incurred slightly over six years ago, when the then-management of Agrokomerc borrowed about 500,000 KM from Lijanovići, the former federal minister of agriculture and his family, and in return, Lijanovići registered Agrokomerc's assets worth more than 21 million KM.

As Agrokomerc did not repay the debt, Lijanovići are now trying to collect the debt by taking over their food processing plants, whose value is twenty times or more higher than Agrokomerc's actual debt to Lijanovići.
The crime, according to Patria's sources, was committed right from the start. And it is part of a well-thought-out plan to take over Agrokomerc.

Lijanovići are not a bank, and money could not have been borrowed from them under the same conditions as from banks. Furthermore, for 500,000 KM, which Lijanovići lent to Agrokomerc, they could have registered assets worth significantly more, i.e., assets worth around one million, but not assets twenty times more expensive.

Finally, Agrokomerc has been undergoing financial consolidation since the end of last year, which, in layman's terms, means that no court decisions can be enforced in Agrokomerc for three years. Simply put, only at the end of 2018 will experts make a decision on the fate of Agrokomerc and the method of settling the company's debts.

The Municipal Court in Velika Kladuša, Patria's sources claim, can stop one of the biggest organized robberies of BiH assets in recent history on August 28 this year, or become part of a well-organized crime.
