Leaders of five political parties arrive for negotiations on the Election Law

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At exactly 3:00 PM, the presidents of five political parties SDA, HDZ BiH, SBB, SDP BiH and DF Bakir Izetbegović, Dragan Čović, Fahrudin Radončić, Nermin Nikšić and Željko Komšić arrived at the EU Delegation building, where they will try to find a solution for amendments to the Election Law, i.e., the filling of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of FBiH, together with representatives of the Venice Commission, the EU Delegation and the US Embassy. 

This morning, the EU Delegation announced that the process of assistance continues and that they remain ready to provide help, advice and expertise, but the responsibility for finding a solution remains with the political parties.

- This year, Bosnia and Herzegovina is given a chance to get closer to the standards of the European Union, not to move away from them - the statement from the EU Delegation reads.
