Leaders Agree on Distribution of Ministries: What Went to SDA, DF, HDZ, and the Alliance for Change

17:50 The leaders of the parties forming the coalition at the state level have concluded a meeting where they agreed on the distribution of positions in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports a reporter from the Patria news agency.

HDZ BiH received three ministries: Defense, Justice, and Finance and Treasury. Additionally, this party's personnel will fill four deputy positions in the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Security, and Transport and Communications.

Alliance for Change also received three ministries: Foreign Affairs, Security, and Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, as well as three deputy positions in the ministries of Civil Affairs, Defense, and Human Rights and Refugees.

SDA, in addition to the Chair of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will have two ministers: for Civil Affairs and for Human Rights and Refugees, as well as two deputy positions in the ministries of Justice and Finance and Treasury.

Democratic Front received the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the position of Deputy Minister of Defense.

By the end of the week, the names of the future ministers and deputies will be known, so that by March 11, the deadline for Bosnia and Herzegovina, the country will officially receive a new Council of Ministers.

It was announced that they will soon come before the journalists and announce that the negotiations on the establishment of the Council of Ministers have been concluded.

Among the first to arrive were the leaders of the PDP and HDZ BiH, Mladen Ivanić and Dragan Čović. After them, the Deputy President of the SDA, Bakir Izetbegović, arrived. Accompanied by the leader of the DF, Željko Komšić, is the Secretary General of this party, Sifet Podžić, and the President of the NDP, Dragan Čavić, also arrived, reports Patria's reporter.
