Lendo: Authorities are destroying Bosnia and Herzegovina's European perspective

(Patria) - Less than two months ago, I warned that the loss of BAM 212 million from the EU Fund for Support to Reforms was not an administrative oversight but a direct consequence of the irresponsibility and incompetence of the ruling coalition.

I also warned that another BAM 200 million in aid could be lost as early as September.

My warning is, unfortunately, coming true today, and it is certain that Bosnia and Herzegovina will once again miss out on EUR 100 million in European funds, while neighboring countries are rapidly utilizing funds and opportunities for development.

The ruling coalition of Trojka, SNSD, and HDZ, through its passivity, is destroying the country's European perspective. Citizens are paying for their incompetence with lost billions, a more expensive life, the loss of hope that BiH will catch up with the region, and the country's increasing lag on the European path.

While refusing non-reimbursable funds from the European Union, the authorities in the Federation are borrowing EUR 350 million without the consent of the Parliament, without a plan, and without accountability. This is not just ignorance and irresponsibility, but national treason and financial suicide.

Dear citizens, this is the Trojka that SNSD, HDZ, and High Representative Schmidt elected to weaken Bosnia and Herzegovina by leading processes.

These are the ones who, in every respect, daily and systematically, with long-term consequences, are destroying the foundations of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In a short time, through their subservient behavior and attitude, they have degraded the pride of Bosniaks and all Bosnians and Herzegovinians for whom Bosnia and Herzegovina is the only homeland.

This country has the strength and the right to a European future, but it will not achieve it with those who are leading and selling it today.
