Lendo: FBiH Government Continues with Unlawful Dismissals

(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina continues with unlawful dismissals, wrote the Vice President of FBiH Refik Lendo this morning on social networks.

In a post on his Facebook profile, Lendo states that following information and media reports related to the circumstances and procedure of the unlawful dismissal of the Management and Supervisory Boards of the University Clinical Center in Sarajevo, he requested the FBiH Government to provide him with the disputed materials for review.

"I have reviewed and read the transcript of the FBiH Government session at which the unlawful dismissal was voted on, the Conclusion of the FBiH Government by which the Government determined that there are 'justifiable reasons' on the basis of which the Government considers that the procedure for the dismissal and appointment of members of the Management and Supervisory Boards of the University Clinical Center in Sarajevo was not conducted lawfully, and the Decision by which the FBiH Government establishes a special Commission whose task is to examine the legality of the dismissal and appointment of members of the Management and Supervisory Boards of the University Clinical Center in Sarajevo.

After analyzing all the materials, I concluded that there are sufficient incriminating facts and evidence that the competent prosecutor's office needs to investigate in order to determine the existence of potential criminal liability of the federal prime minister and others who incited, promised rewards or some other form of benefit in exchange for influence peddling or otherwise participated in the unlawful dismissal of the Management and Supervisory Boards of the University Clinical Center in Sarajevo.

As a legalist, I believe in the rule of law and a legal state, and I believe that the competent prosecutor's office should take all necessary measures and actions to determine all the circumstances of the unlawful dismissal of the members of the Management and Supervisory Boards and the potential prosecution of those criminally responsible," Lendo stated.
