Lendo: The Trojka coalition, by fulfilling Čović's wishes, handed over Federal Television to those who desire HZHB

(Patria) - The ruling parties, through the method of electing and appointing members of the RTVFBiH Management Board, have grossly violated laws and other legal regulations governing this matter, stated the Vice President of the FBiH, Refik Lendo, in his reaction.

"In doing so, the deputies of the Trojka coalition and other parties that supported such appointments have also agreed to hand over control of this Public Service to Zoran Krešić, a person who publicly advocates for the re-establishment of the para-state entity of the so-called Herceg-Bosna.

In addition to the devastating fact that they supported the appointment of a man who openly advocates for the dismantling of the territorial integrity and political sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Trojka coalition has directly handed over control of the operations and program policy of Federal Television to HDZ BiH.

The Trojka coalition is aware that HDZ does not allow the collection of subscription fees for the Public RTV system through public institutions they control, and that it openly calls on Croats not to pay the subscription fee, and that it obstructs in every way the preparation, adoption, and implementation of a systemic solution that will clearly, precisely, and permanently regulate the system of collecting subscription fees throughout the entire territory of the FBiH.

Despite this, they decided to hand over control of Federal Television, which is financed exclusively by users of JP Elektroprivreda BiH services, to those who obstruct the financial sustainability of this Public RTV service.

It is deeply concerning that the Trojka coalition, instead of making efforts and conditioning HDZ BiH with a systemic solution, and appointing professional, ethical, and competent individuals to the Management Board who will work in the best interest of the state, and not against it, rushed to fulfill another wish of Dragan Čović and handed over Federal Television to him.

The question arises as to how long the officials of the Trojka coalition will pay for their positions in power, which they obtained thanks to a one-day suspension of the FBiH Constitution to the detriment of the Bosniak people, with the interests of the citizens, and where is the bottom line to which they are willing to go in this intention," Lendo asked.
