Lendo: Solidarity as the Foundation of Social Responsibility and Togetherness

(Patria) - On the occasion of the International Human Solidarity Day, Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Refik Lendo emphasized that solidarity is the fundamental force that holds society together and enables a fairer development for all citizens.

Highlighting the importance of joint action in times of global crises, Lendo stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina can progress only if a culture of mutual respect, care and support is systematically built in society.

During a meeting with representatives of the Women's Organization of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lendo pointed to the undeniable role of women in preserving social stability and the values of solidarity.

He reminded that women in Bosnia and Herzegovina are often faced with economic inequality, political marginalization and various forms of discrimination.

- Women of Bosnia and Herzegovina do not seek privileges - they seek equal rights and equal opportunities. It is the obligation of state institutions to ensure that - Lendo said.

Support for pronatalist policy was emphasized, with the note that demographic renewal is one of the important issues for the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the expectation that institutions at all levels of government take appropriate measures to implement it.

Lendo also said that women in our communities bear the greatest burden of social and economic crises, but are at the same time the first to rise, organize and provide help to others.

- Their courage, energy and dedication to the values of solidarity represent the pillar on which our society rests - Lendo stressed.

Finally, he thanked the Women's Organization of the SDA of Bosnia and Herzegovina for their consistent work, emphasizing that their strength and social responsibility remain key to building a fairer and safer Bosnia and Herzegovina.
