Lendo meets with Association of Generals of BiH: Justice and truth have no alternative

Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Refik Lendo met today with representatives of the Association of Generals of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting discussed the current political and security situation in the country, as well as the past and planned activities of the Association.

Special emphasis was placed on the issue of processing war crimes. It was pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina had already adopted the Revised National Strategy for War Crimes Processing, which clearly stipulates that priority must be given to cases from the A list submitted to the BiH judicial institutions by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague.

Vice President Lendo emphasized the importance of consistent and urgent implementation of this strategy and thanked the members of the Association for their support, stressing his full readiness to support their activities aimed at preserving the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the fight for truth and justice.

On behalf of the Association, the meeting was attended by President General Rizvo Pleh, General Džemal Merdan, and the Secretary of the Association Sadik Klinić.
