Lendo attended the commemoration of the 33rd anniversary of the 308/708. Glorious Mountain Brigade in Novi Travnik

(Patria) - The Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Refik Lendo, attended the commemoration of the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the 308/708. Glorious Mountain Brigade, which was held with an academy at the House of Culture in Novi Travnik.

In his address to the attendees, he emphasized that the 308/708. Glorious Mountain Brigade, formed in Novi Travnik during the most difficult days of the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, holds a special place in the history of the defense of the state as a symbol of organized resistance, courage, and determination.

He stressed that the members of the brigade, with their heroism, discipline, and patriotism, made an immeasurable contribution to the defense of Novi Travnik and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that the sacrifice of martyrs and fallen soldiers is a permanent foundation of freedom and an obligation for lasting remembrance and respect.

He extended sincere congratulations to the families of martyrs and fallen soldiers, members of the 308/708. Glorious Mountain Brigade, demobilized soldiers, disabled war veterans, as well as all citizens of Novi Travnik who participated in its formation, development, and strengthening, and made an immeasurable contribution to the defense of the city and the state.

As part of the anniversary commemoration, flowers were laid at the Central Memorial to the martyrs and fallen soldiers of the 308/708. Glorious Mountain Brigade, with honors paid to their sacrifice and contribution to the freedom of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was announced from the Office of Public Relations of the Vice President of the FBiH.
