Lendo: Another disgrace and humiliation of Bosniaks orchestrated by the imposed government led by Nikšić

(Patria) - Vice President of the FBiH Refik Lendo pointed to, as he stated, another disgrace and humiliation of Bosniaks orchestrated by the imposed Government of the FBiH led by Nermin Nikšić.

"The imposed Government of the Federation today, by decisions contrary to the Statute of the KCUS, acting contrary to the decisions of the Government of the Central Bosnia Canton, appointed a politically active person, a member of the HDZ BiH and an employee of the Health Center from Jajce, to the management structure of the KCUS on behalf of this canton, who will ultimately decide on the appointment of the new director of the UKC Sarajevo.

The Statute of the KCUS and the Law on Health Care of the FBiH stipulate that dismissals and appointments are carried out by the Government of the Federation upon the proposal of the Federal Minister of Health, and not upon the proposal of the Prime Minister of the Federation, as was the case today.

The unlawful decisions mention bodies that the Statute of the KCUS does not recognize, namely the 'temporary Management Board' and the 'temporary Supervisory Board'.

The statutory bodies of the KCUS are the Management Board and the Supervisory Board, and as such they are the only ones authorized to make decisions that produce legal effects.

Any decisions made by bodies that the Statute of the KCUS does not recognize are unlawful and produce no legal effects.

The Statute of the KCUS and the laws require that every vacant position in the Management Board and the Supervisory Board be filled after a publicly conducted competition procedure, and not based on a procedure arbitrarily and contrary to the law carried out by the imposed prime minister.

The imposed Government of the Federation has, by this act, destroyed the integrity and reputation of the KCUS, trampled on the will of the cantons where Bosniaks are the majority, and handed over the most important healthcare institution for Bosniaks into the hands of the HDZ BiH and Dragan Čović.

This is a great and grave disgrace whose devastating and lasting consequences will be felt by the people, mostly Bosniaks, whose treatment conditions will be determined by the cadres of the HDZ BiH and Dragan Čović," Lendo stated.
