Lendo congratulates Statehood Day of BiH: Tolerance, freedom, multiculturalism are values we must preserve

(Patria) - On the occasion of November 25, Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Vice President of the FBiH Refik Lendo sent congratulations to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"The decisions of ZAVNOBiH from 1943 confirmed the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina, its equality among European states and peoples, and the continuity of territorial integrity that has shaped our country through centuries.

It was clearly established then that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a community of equal peoples and all its citizens.

Contemporary Bosnia and Herzegovina was built on these values – togetherness, tolerance, freedom, and multiculturalism, and they remain a lasting obligation and a guide for our future.

Today, in a time of political pressures and attempts to challenge sovereignty, it is our duty to preserve these values responsibly, with dignity, and unitedly. The strength of Bosnia and Herzegovina has always been in its people – in the determination to defend a country that belongs to everyone.

We proudly cherish the memory of all who defended it and are grateful to the generations who are strengthening it today through work, knowledge, and faith in a better future.
