ANTALYA, (Patria) - News from Turkey that legendary Bosnian basketball player and former BiH national team selector Sabit Hadžić has suffered a stroke and is in serious condition.
As Sportske.ba learns, Hadžić has been admitted to a hospital in Antalya and placed on life support.
Sabit Hadžić was part of the Bosnia team that won the European championship title in Grenoble in 1979.
He was the selector of the BiH national team on two occasions and led the team at European Championships four times, making him our most successful selector.
He worked in Turkey and Kuwait, and in recent years lived between Sarajevo and Antalya.
