(Patria) - In the presence of SDP BiH President Nermin Nikšić and SDP BPK Cantonal Organization President Ernest Imamović, celebrated Bosnian and Herzegovinian handball coach and legend Kasim Kamenica joined the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Kamenica, among other achievements, coached the national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro, and the former Yugoslavia during his illustrious career.
"SDP BiH is the only political option that has proven its commitment to sports clubs and national teams in all sports. During the rule of SDP BiH, our national teams participated in the biggest world sports events with the maximum support of the authorities at the time. That was the first and only time that sports received the deserved support from the state, which also resulted in achievements. SDP BiH has shown that it understands that sports are the best ambassador of a country, as well as the most powerful integrating factor of society," stated Kamenica.
With Kasim Kamenica joining, SDP welcomes another great sports figure into its family, which is further confirmation of the positive policies and strengthening of SDP BiH, recognized by the wider community, as well as by numerous distinguished individuals.
