Icy rain and dense fog making traffic difficult across BiH, drivers advised to be cautious

(Patria) - According to information available to the BiHAMK Information Center, icy rain and fog have been recorded on the following sections and areas: in the wider area of Livno and Tomislavgrad, where it further complicates traffic due to low temperatures and slippery roads, in the wider area of Sarajevo, especially on the Sarajevo North - Butila Interchange - Sarajevo West section, where drivers are advised to exercise maximum caution due to the possibility of black ice.

Fog reduces visibility at several locations, and we highlight: the wider area of Kalesija and Kladanj, where it lingers in places during the day; in the area of Livno, including the Livno - Šuica - Kupres section, where visibility is reduced to 50 meters in places, locally in the mountainous and higher areas of central Bosnia.

We advise reducing speed, maintaining a greater distance between vehicles, and paying extra attention on sections with possible black ice and reduced visibility.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons is still suspended.

At border crossings, passenger vehicle traffic is occasionally increasing, but for now, it is proceeding with delays of up to 30 minutes.
