Ice creates danger on roads, worst in Krajina

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to extremely low temperatures in Bosnia and Herzegovina, ice can be expected on shaded parts of roads in higher elevations, as well as on bridges, viaducts and tunnel approaches. Due to pronounced ice, we highlight the following roads: Priluka-Glamoč-Mlinište, Resanovci-Drvar, Bihać-Bosanski Petrovac-Ključ, Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar (Oštrelj) and Jablanica-Posušje (Blidinje). We note that at such low temperatures, the effect of spreading material is weaker and slower. We also warn of frequent landslides on numerous sections. We appeal to drivers to drive more carefully and not to set off without winter equipment. 

Due to works in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica road, traffic alternates, one lane, during the day, while traffic is suspended at night (11:30 PM to 4:30 AM).

On the Jajce-Donji Vakuf main road, due to works in the Skela tunnel, traffic alternates, one lane, during the day. At night (10 PM - 6 AM), traffic is suspended and redirected to the bypass around the tunnel (Metaling factory circle).

Among other roads with ongoing works, we highlight the roads: Jablanica-Mostar (section from Komadinovo vrelo to Begića i Begovića bridge), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude) and Stolac-Hutovo (in Cerovica).

Due to an activated landslide, traffic on the Foča-Goražde main road section (in Filipovići) is slow, with one lane.

There are no long delays at border crossings.
