Lazović: Change of Republika Srpska's name initiated also by some international circles

(Patria) - Former President of the Assembly of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Miro Lazović assessed that he believes the appeal for changing the name of the entity Republika Srpska is not just a result of SDA's desire, but was initiated by some international circles.

"The initiative itself does not mean the abolition of the Republika Srpska entity, as I understood it, but a change of name. That Republika Srpska, as it is called today, could in the future be called 'Republic of the Serb, Bosniak, and Croat people'", Lazović stated for N1, reported by NAP.

In a press release from SDA, they clarified that the long-standing practice of the authorities of the RS entity has shown that the current name of that entity has been intensively and effectively used for the purpose of discrimination and exclusion of the other two constituent peoples - Bosniaks and Croats.
