Fake asylum seekers will be returned to BiH express

The departure of BiH citizens from BiH seeking asylum after the latest events has not yet been recorded, confirmed Bakir Dautbašić, head of the Monitoring Team of the Ministry of Security of BiH for monitoring the application of the visa-free regime for the BiH news agency Patria.

Namely, in recent weeks, BiH has been struggling with unprecedented floods, landslides and consequences in which many citizens have lost their homes, property, jobs, and livelihoods. Although in a difficult situation, BiH citizens are still bravely enduring the misfortune that has befallen them and are staying in BiH.

- We will very quickly organize a meeting of the Monitoring Team, most likely next week. We were supposed to have one when the biggest flood was in Brčko, but we canceled. We will certainly monitor the trends as to whether there will be departures of BiH citizens seeking fake asylum – Dautbašić told Patria.

He said that the natural disaster that befell BiH does not provide conditions for seeking asylum in any country.

- In any case, they will be returned express. But at this moment, we have no information that anything worrying is happening – Dautbašić said.
