False bomb threat at Municipal Court building

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A report of a bomb planted at the Municipal Court in Sarajevo was received around 12:15 PM by PS Centar, after which employees were evacuated and a bomb disposal sweep was conducted.

This is the second bomb threat at the Municipal Court building in the past few months.

All hearings were suspended at both the Municipal and Cantonal Courts in Sarajevo, as they are located in the same building. As confirmed to Patria agency by Suvada Kuldija, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, the bomb disposal sweep concluded at 3 PM and determined the report to be false.

Kuldija also noted that the case of a false bomb threat at the SCC shopping center on Saturday, April 20th, has been resolved.

"Suspect D.A., born in 1991, was questioned as a suspect for the criminal offense of 'Endangering Security' and a report on the committed criminal offense will be submitted to the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office," Kuldija stated.
