False bomb threat at the Dutch Embassy in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Dutch Embassy, located in the Grbavica neighborhood of Sarajevo, was evacuated this morning due to a threat that an explosive device had been planted in the building, confirmed Suvada Kuldija, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, for Patria agency. 

As we learned, around 9:20 this morning, a threat was received via e-mail stating that an explosive device had been planted in the building, after which the building was completely evacuated and a counter-sabotage inspection, i.e., a search of all premises of the Embassy building, was carried out. 

The KDZ (counter-sabotage) inspection was carried out by members of the DKPT (Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies) who secure the Embassy, as well as members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton. Shortly before 2 PM, the inspection was completed, and it was determined that the report was false. 

Kuldija stated that the cantonal prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, as well as the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, were informed about this incident. 

The investigation into this case has been taken over by the competent police agencies, which will determine the sender of the threatening e-mail.
