(Patria) - The latest statements by SDP BiH representative Aner Žuljević once again show how far the representatives of the Troika are willing to go in fabricating lies and spins, all with the aim of covering up their own catastrophic moves.
This was stated for the Patria News Agency (NAP) by Federation MP Jasmina Bišćević Tokić (SDA), emphasizing that the public, however, must hear the facts that clearly unmask their hypocrisy.
The reason for her sharp reaction were accusations made by her colleague from the FBiH Parliament from the ranks of SDP BiH, Aner Žuljević, against SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović.
Among other things, Žuljević reproached Izetbegović that the key political tools of the SDA are "slander and scheming," accusing him of having uttered "an incredible amount of shameless lies without a shred of shame" in his speech before his own people in Bužim.
- Žuljević took the trouble to analyze the speech of SDA President Bakir Izetbegović in Bužim word by word, but it is interesting that he did not feel the need to analyze the situation in Stolac, where the decision on the construction of a cemetery was annulled.
His such selective approach speaks volumes about whose interests he represents and for whom he is actually playing - says Bišćević Tokić, reminding that it was Žuljević himself who personally voted for the appointment of Zoran Krešić to the FTV Board of Directors, thereby effectively handing over the key institution to Dragan Čović and his cadres.
An even worse move, our interlocutor assesses, was the decision by which the Constitutional Court of BiH was practically handed over to the HDZ through the imposition of Marin Vukoja and Sanela Gorušanović-Butigan, where the SDP supported Marin instead of Sanela, who had all the qualifications. With this, Žuljević and SDP BiH directly contributed to the erosion of the independence of the judiciary and the public service.
- The government of Nermin Nikšić made a decision for the Federation of BiH to borrow on the London Stock Exchange for the first time in history in the amount of 350 million euros, amending the Law on Debt, thereby depriving the FBiH Parliament of its constitutional right to decide on this matter.
Instead of seeking more favorable sources of financing and investing in development projects, they are pushing FBiH into debt slavery with interest rates that future generations will have to repay. This move clearly shows that the Troika has no plan other than quickly filling the budget and buying social peace before the elections.
They voted several times not to include the Law on the Southern Interconnection on the agenda because of their coalition partner, even though it is strategically very important for the citizens of the Federation of BiH, until the international community got involved - states Bišćević Tokić.
While the Troika members boast about "successes," the Federation MP continues, citizens feel their policy best through price increases.
- In the Federation of BiH, a process of increasing electricity prices has been initiated, and in the Sarajevo Canton, where the Troika governs, public transport has become more expensive after 20 years: the ticket price jumped from 1.40 KM to 2.20 KM, and monthly tickets have reached 60 KM.
An increase in the price of water by as much as 48% is also in preparation. On top of all this, utility services, heating, and waste disposal are becoming increasingly expensive.
The Troika has brought citizens a more expensive life, and their decisions directly affect families who are already struggling to make ends meet - emphasizes Bišćević Tokić.
She also points out that SDP BiH and its partners also passed the Law on Non-Working Sunday, the consequences of which are catastrophic.
- It is estimated that the Federation of BiH lost tens of millions of KM in revenue due to the ban on Sunday work, while trade spilled over into the RS entity. At the same time, thousands of workers lost their jobs because businessmen, faced with a drop in turnover, were forced to lay off staff.
Instead of passing laws that support the economy and workers, the Troika has harmed the economy with its populism and created new social insecurity.
Žuljević is the last person who has the right to talk about protecting the interests of citizens. He is the one who, with his vote, handed over institutions to the HDZ, supported debts that destroy the future of the Federation of BiH, passed laws that destroy the economy, and remained silent while price hikes hit the people.
Citizens clearly see the difference between those who built and protected institutions and those who are destroying them. Neither false accusations nor spins will help, because the truth cannot be hidden.
The SDA and its leader Bakir Izetbegović will continue to speak the truth and fight for the interests of citizens. The Troika can continue with intrigues and deceptions, but the people are already sending them a clear message.
The real assessment of their policy will come at the elections, when citizens will show that Bosnia and Herzegovina does not belong to those who sell and betray it, but to those who defend and build it - concluded Bišćević Tokić in an interview with NAP.
