Lana Pudar arrives in Sarajevo: The feeling is phenomenal

(Patria) - Lana Pudar arrived at Sarajevo International Airport tonight, after a successful performance at the World Championships in Abu Dhabi and winning a bronze medal in the 200-meter butterfly, a historic achievement for our country.

The best BiH swimmer was given a ceremonial welcome in the capital of BiH, and on the occasion of her return to her homeland, she told those present at the press conference:

“I want to greet everyone present and thank you for coming in such large numbers. Your support, which I received all these days, truly means a lot to me. This competition behind me was truly phenomenal. The crown of the year is this bronze medal, which I am so proud of. I dreamed of winning, it is a phenomenal feeling to be on the podium. Some things could have been better, but in any case, I am satisfied,” stated the 15-year-old Pudar.

The coach of the BiH swimmer, Alena Ćemalović, also addressed the media representatives on this occasion:

“It is nice to finally return home after almost a month that we were away from Mostar. We started preparing for the short course competition in September, and the final race on Friday was her seventh short course race. This is not a small thing, and you have to be special to respond to rivals in the pool the way Lana does”.

A ceremonial welcome will also be organized for Lana Pudar tonight in her hometown of Mostar.
