Lagumdžija ahead of dismissal vote: The people "slapped" us all on February 7th

Zlatko Lagumdžija, Minister of Foreign Affairs, addressed the MPs of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH who discussed his dismissal for several hours, reports the reporter of the BiH news agency Patria.

- You have all already decided and thank you for your patience. I received a specific question about what I did regarding this initiative. I am especially pleased that this morning the MPs of SDA and SBB voted for the report of the Council of Ministers, which means for me as well. In the last 50 days since the initiative, I have been exclusively dealing with the floods, not the initiative, and I call on you, regardless of the outcome of the vote, to continue dealing with it. In the next 100 days, we must deal with the catastrophic consequences of the floods. We are trying to get a BiH budget through a donor conference solely for the reconstruction of houses; another one is needed for the reconstruction of jobs - said Lagumdžija.

He added that he is convinced that no matter how anyone fares in the elections, they will be at peace with themselves.

- This will only be the case if we do something before winter for the people who have been left without roofs over their heads. To restore jobs. It is very important that none of us works on anything else for a single day except that. So I did nothing but this - said Lagumdžija.  

The minister further said that someone wanted to give him a "political slap in the face", but that the people on February 7th slapped everyone, including him.
