Lagumdžija: We did everything to not lose a fund worth 1.4 billion euros

By signing Bosnia and Herzegovina's accession to the "Creative Europe" project, cultural workers will have access to a European fund worth 1.4 billion euros by 2020. The Presidency of BiH today authorized the Head of the BiH Mission to the EU, Ambassador Igor Davidović, to sign the accession, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko Lagumdžija, welcomed the decision on BiH's accession to the "Creative Europe" project and congratulated the cultural workers of BiH on their membership.

- I congratulate all film workers in BiH, audiovisual and all cultural workers on their membership in the European Union's "Creative Europe" program. We did everything, together with all relevant institutions, to ensure that the continuity of our membership in the Media 2007-2014 program is not lost, especially since "Creative Europe" is a program that jointly continues and unifies the media and culture programs - it was announced from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
