(Patria) - The Government of Sarajevo Canton (KS) has brought this canton to the brink of debt slavery, according to the Cantonal Board of the Party of BiH.
They point out that the Government, through excessive spending of budget money and creating additional obligations under collective agreements, has brought the KS to the brink of collapse.
"The Government of Sarajevo Canton, through senseless and irrational investments in failed projects, has brought this canton to the brink of a budget deficit.
As a solution to all the accumulated problems in the KS budget, Prime Minister (M)Uk has announced a life-saving solution: the Government will introduce a new tax, a property tax.
The cost of living in Sarajevo Canton is skyrocketing, food prices are rising, electricity price hikes are announced, fuel is more expensive, gas is the most expensive in the region, and utility service price hikes are on the horizon, and now Prime Minister Uk finds a life-saving solution for the destroyed budget.
When you are failing, you introduce a tax, and that is a known pattern, and the citizens become your ATM in this situation.
The 'Trojka' (Trio) is slowly tightening the noose around the citizens' necks and will do everything to continue filling the budget directly from the citizens, while creating any new value is just a thought, because how would the Prime Minister achieve that when his prime ministerial position is his first job.
If Sarajevo Canton were lucky, Prime Minister Uk would have started his professional career at the RAD company, where he would have had the opportunity to create at least some new value, e.g., a container," adds the statement from the Cantonal Board of the Party of BiH.
