Kusturica's portal: "A mob with batons went after Karajlić, special forces saved him"

The story about Nele Karajlić's visit to Sarajevo was also published by the portal iskra.co, owned by Emir Kusturica. If it weren't for Kusturica, we surely wouldn't know that that evening a mob of at least 100 people with batons went after Karajlić, writes the Patria news agency.

Dr. Nele Kаrаjlić two evenings ago barely escaped Sarajevo with the help of police special forces!

What was not mentioned in the reports that Dr. Kаrаjlić visited his hometown after 23 years is the fact that in front of the tavern in Sarajevo, where Nele Kаrаjlić was with two friends, soon after their arrival, a mob of at least 100 people gathered, ready to attack him, and that he was saved from greater trouble by – special forces!

According to our well-informed source, Nele Kаrаjlić, two evenings ago, after the promotion of his book „Fаjront u Sаrаjevu“, which was held on Jahorina, headed to Sarajevo with two friends, counting on the possibility that there would be no problems.

In Sarajevo, they stopped at the tavern Lukа in Tаbаšnica, where, allegedly, someone took a photo of Dr. Kаrаjlić… The photo quickly spread through social networks across the city, and after about 20-30 minutes, people appeared near the tavern ready to – physically settle scores with Dr. Nele…

– It was quite tense… At least a hundred people gathered in front of the tavern, some carried batons, looked quite belligerent… They blocked the exit road from the tavern, and if someone hadn't called the police and informed them of what was happening, who knows how it all would have ended – claims our source.

Dr. Nele and his friends then left the tavern escorted by special forces… And a story remained circulating in Sarajevo that lynching, according to the old truth of Andrić, in these parts is still just – „an expression of unfulfilled love“.

Incidentally, media in Bosnia and Serbia reported that Nele Kаrаjlić, for the first time since the war in the former Yugoslavia, visited Sarajevo, his hometown, that he stayed briefly in Sarajevo and then left. The media reported that Dr. Kаrаjlić attended a party, and that a large number of police officers were noticeable in front of the tavern, securing his stay.
