Kurir falsified receipt books and damaged KCUS by 85,000 KM

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo confirmed the indictment of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office against Amer Ćato for the criminal offenses of falsifying an official document and embezzlement in office.

He is accused of, from the beginning of February 2010 to September 2016, while performing the duties of a courier in the General Affairs Service of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, making corrections to 939 sheets and 570 specifications of resource consumption in the receipt books, and based on such falsified receipt sheets and falsified specifications, he took an increased amount of money from the cashier.

Thus, by entering untrue data and with the intention of obtaining unlawful property gain, he appropriated money in the amount of 85,816.80 KM. He damaged the University Clinical Center Sarajevo by the stated amount.
