Kurić receives representatives of Spars, winners of the BiH Cup

(Patria) - On the occasion of the recent winning of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup „Mirza Delibašić“, the Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton Mirvad Kurić received today the representatives of
KK „Spars Realway“, led by their president Nihad Selimović. The basketball players of this Sarajevo club this year, in a tense and excellent
match, managed for the first time to defeat the seven-time winner of this trophy, KK „Igokea“.

„I congratulate you on this great result, I share your joy over it, and I am sure that support for you and your good results in the future from this
ministry will not be lacking, because you are precisely our basketball future“, emphasized Minister Kurić.

The club president and coach Nedim Džemić, who also attended today's reception, expressed words of great gratitude to Minister Kurić personally, but also to the Ministry,
because they were the only ones who provided continuous support to this club. “We thank you for all the support so far and thank you for being the only ones who practically believed in us and our young basketball players until this historic result“, said Džemić. 

President Selimović proudly stated that the players of „Spars“ today make up the majority of our national team selections, and that the investment in their work pays off multiple times. As a sign of gratitude for all the support so far to this promising basketball collective, President Selimović at the end of today's reception presented Minister Kurić with a jersey of this club with his name on it.
