Godfather is not a button: Who is Perica Stanić, Mektić's favorite for SIPA director

The Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent an envelope with the name of Perica Stanić as a candidate for the new director of SIPA to the Council of Ministers of BiH, reports the Patria news agency.

Stanić began his police career as an assistant commander of the Police Station in Prnjavor. This was followed by advancement, and he was appointed a crime inspector, and later commander of the Public Security Station Prnjavor.

After that, he moved to the position of deputy chief of the Security Center Banja Luka, then chief inspector in the Police Administration, and is currently serving as an advisor to the Director of the Republika Srpska Police.

Stanić was also a member of the Police Board of the RS Ministry of Interior, actively participated in the police reform process in BiH, and was the leader of the RS Ministry of Interior team in police reform negotiations during 2006.

For the record, Stanić is connected to Mektić through godfather ties, and both are from Prnjavor.
