Former celebrated Bayern player Samuel Kuffur believes Nigeria does not have the quality to pass the group stage of the World Cup, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
Kuffur is disappointed with Nigeria's performance in the first match against Iran and stated for the media that he does not know how Nigeria will then face Bosnia and Herzegovina and Argentina in the upcoming matches. BiH plays against Nigeria as early as Saturday evening.
- Nigeria lacks the tactical quality to advance. You saw how many balls they lost in the match against Iran, which had a plan and a game. I am worried about how they will fare against BiH and Argentina – stated the former Ghana international and legendary defender of the Munich club.
Kuffur is generally dissatisfied with the performances of all African selections, but he was most critical of our next opponent.
- The Iran-Nigeria match was the worst so far. Nigeria played poorly and I doubt they will recover in the upcoming matches and qualify for the next round – stated Kuffur, reports NAP.
