(Patria) - The Ministry for Veteran Affairs of Sarajevo Canton will co-finance the City of Sarajevo project with 52,000 KM, launched with the aim of rehabilitation and recreation of the veteran population at the Olympic Pool Otoka.
The consent for the allocation of funds for these purposes from the KS Budget was given by the Government at today's session.
As explained by the relevant minister Omer Osmanović, this is a project that should be realized over a period of five months for about 600 users.
The rehabilitation and recreation program for the veteran population includes individual water rehabilitation, recreational swimming, and sauna use five times a week for a duration of four to five weeks.
“The total costs of realizing this project amount to 72,000 KM, of which the Ministry for Veteran Affairs allocates 52,000 KM, and the City of Sarajevo allocates 20,000 KM. Given that this involves the use of funds secured from the budget of the Ministry for Veteran Affairs in the Sarajevo Canton Budget for 2023, no additional funds are required for the implementation of this decision,” explained Minister Osmanović.
