Killer Wrote to Munira Subašić: I Will Tell My Children It's Not Worth Being a Criminal

The president of the Association Movement "Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves" Munira Subašić told the media today after the closing arguments of the Prosecution at the trial of Radovan Karadžić in The Hague that she recently received a letter from a criminal, Patria reports.

- He wrote to me that we mothers are fortunate, because we will cry, mourn, because our children are no more, and then we will fall asleep with a clear conscience. As for me, I fight with myself every day and I wish I wasn't who I am. But, I will tell my children that it's not worth being a criminal – Subašić said.

Otherwise, on today's first day of closing arguments, prosecutor Alan Tieger, in his extensive presentation, presented many facts that incriminate the former president of Republika Srpska for genocide in Srebrenica, the siege and shelling of Sarajevo, killing and ethnic cleansing of civilians of non-Serb nationality, and the capture of UN soldiers.
