Krunić still working on Dodik's orders: Mirosavić first on the list for SIPA Director

The session of the Supervisory Board of the BiH Parliament has concluded, during which interviews were conducted with seven candidates for the position of SIPA Director, and a ranking list of five names was compiled and submitted to the BiH Minister of Security Dragan Mektić, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

First on the ranking list with 86.11 points is Tomislav Mirosavić, an SNSD cadre, followed by Davor Vidović with 84.44 points, Perica Stanić with 82.22 points, Slobodan Nikć with 81.11 points, and Relja Kovač with 62.77 points.

Žiko Krunić, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the BiH Parliament, stated that the candidates' ranking list has been forwarded to Mektić. When pressed by journalists to say whether the first person on the list must be chosen, Krunić said:

- You are all educated people and you know what a performance ranking list means, and for the rest, you should ask the minister - Krunić said.

Minister Mektić certainly did not expect this outcome, as his SDS party's favorite was the third-placed Perica Stanić. It is unknown whether Mektić will respect this ranking list or if he will choose someone else instead of the top-ranked Mirosavić, who is close to the former SIPA Director Goran Zubac.

As Patria has learned, the Minister Mektić can choose any candidate from the list, but it is important that the chosen candidate receives the support of Bosniak, Croat, and Serb ministers in the Council of Ministers of BiH.

Furthermore, according to Patria's findings, the biggest competition for the position of SIPA Director will be between two candidates: the second-placed Vidović and the third-placed Stanić.
