Žiko Krunić, president of the Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, stated for the Patria news agency that he has not yet received information from the secretary of this body that the indictment against Goran Zubac, director of SIPA, has been confirmed. He further states that regardless of this, he will not immediately convene a session of the Independent Board, but will wait to receive documentation from all institutions from which they requested reports on the events of February 7.
- At our last session, we made that conclusion and we will wait for all reports to arrive, and we requested them from police agencies, prosecutor's offices, etc. So, regardless of whether the indictment is confirmed or not, we will hold the session only when we receive everything we requested – Krunić said.
Otherwise, Zubac is charged with dereliction of duty, as he took no measures to protect the BiH Presidency building when it was set on fire on February 7.
- The session does not depend on us now, but on the institutions from which we requested reports – Krunić added.
Otherwise, the Court of BiH cannot yet confirm that the indictment has been filed, as they have not received dispatch notes from all parties in the proceedings.
