Krug 99: Plenković as a colonial envoy lectures BiH citizens instead of admitting the Joint Criminal Enterprise and apologizing

(Patria) - There is probably no person in BiH, except for fascists and impotent cynics, who has not felt personally humiliated and outraged by Andrej Plenković's actions during the EU delegation's visit to Sarajevo, states the Association of Independent Intellectuals Krug 99.

"Instead of the long-awaited words and a final apology for the Joint Criminal Enterprise (UZP) and the acceptance of responsibility by the Republic of Croatia for removing the political, material, and moral consequences that arose from the UZP, Plenković, like some colonial envoy, is giving arrogant lectures to the free citizens of BiH on how they voted and how they vote. Even today's Croatia, if one is to judge by him, has not yet shed the criterion of tribal kinship when voting based on law and justice, but rather for a politically and democratically enlightened people. And he mocks those he came with, who could never have come if they themselves had been elected on that (non-European) matrix," they state.

They believe that the caution of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands is worthy of the highest attention and respect due to the obvious recognition of the traps set by the Danaans who, under the guise of being the "greatest friend" of EU integration, want to impose factual and permanent colonization of BiH.

"Rutte's intention, which accepts a part of his country's responsibility in the past, is more honorable than Plenković's seductive phrases that can only mislead the naive and unenlightened, like geese in fog. The Netherlands, by insisting on meeting the criteria, directly helps build a modern and democratic Bosnia and Herzegovina, while on the other hand, Croatia, which tries in every way to subordinate Bosnia and Herzegovina to itself and its UZP policies, thereby permanently separating us from EU integration. The EU's gestures of coming with delegations whose intentions are not European but colonial are politically thoughtless.

It would be ironic to offer a demagogic explanation that they brought the "greatest friend of BiH," or that they did not know the realpolitik reception of the successor to Franjo Tuđman's policy in its contemporary form. Does anyone really think that Bosnians and Herzegovinians, as a self-aware nation, are so naive as not to see how Croatia and its UZP entourage will blackmail Bosnia and Herzegovina during potential negotiations on each of the 6 negotiation clusters, and thus try to permanently resolve the issue of Kostajnica, Trgovska Gora, the illegal use of the Buško Lake hydro-potential, not allowing Bosnia and Herzegovina to have a sea border, and finally, the issue of amending the Constitution and the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all in favor of Croatia and to the detriment of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Plenković's false enthusiasm actually has these and only these goals.

Plenković's demonization of Komšić for colonizing BiH will not succeed. His voters are not Muslims, nor Bosniaks, but politically enlightened and democratically capable citizens of BiH. The disgusting reduction of Bosniaks to a religious group, the dulling of their political will by visiting Reis Kavazović, cannot hide the fear and anger towards the ever-growing Bosnian national, state-building self-awareness. Lessons from World War II, miscalculations from the last war, today's attempts to isolate an entire people from the rule of law and democratic standards, if not learned by now, will be learned in new transports to foreign lands, with a stopover at Obonjan and similar detention camps.

Therefore, the message to Plenković, and anyone coming from Croatia as an envoy: acknowledge the consequences of the UZP and make at least a small contribution to removing the consequences of the UZP on the state and society of BiH, so that sincere dialogue can be possible, and the natural human desire to accept a friendly gesture. Maček did not succeed, Tuđman did not succeed, and Plenković will not destroy Bosnia!

Željko Komšić is not perfection, but he is undoubtedly a man of honorable intentions towards his homeland. Hundreds of flaws can be attributed to him, like to any man, but one virtue cannot be denied: loyalty to his homeland and all its people, the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The projection of creating and inciting hatred between people and nations in BiH has not yielded the expected results. It is clear that the hatred towards the phenomenon of Komšić is on par with that failure. With Dragan Čović, the intended result would have been certain. Despite all the whining about how to finally produce, as before, ISIL members and Muslim fanatics, although this is actually about a democratically formed, self-aware Bosnian-Herzegovinian nation.

There has been too much sincere, unadulterated love for the Croatian people, especially in certain parts of Bosnia, to have remorse towards that people. But also insidious blows from the Presidency, in their name, so that they would be forgotten today. Bosnia belongs to all its citizens, whatever their name, and to whatever God they pray. Let Bosnia finally build relations in peace, tailored to the measure and rights of every person, in the manner of the democratic world," state Krug 99.
