86 elementary school students completed the summer swimming school

In order to enable students to use their free time in a quality way during the summer holidays, the Municipality of Centar, in cooperation with the Public Institution "Center for Sport and Recreation", organized a free summer swimming school for students from the third to the sixth grade of 11 elementary schools in the Centar area, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The project was realized at the Olympic Pool Otoka in the period from June 22 to July 10, 2015. The school was attended by 86 participants in three shifts, and it was led by physical education professors Adis Mušanović and Mirza Pašić from the "Center for Sport and Recreation".

- The Municipality of Centar, together with us, has been organizing a free summer swimming school for elementary school students for years. I want to emphasize that the project was successfully completed. The participants were divided into three shifts: the first group from June 22 to 26, the second from June 29 to July 3, and the third group from July 6 to 10. The children spent two hours at the pool every day where they mastered the basics of swimming technique - said Mušanović.

The Municipality of Centar allocated 8,000 KM for the realization of this sports project.
