Rump SDA Club initiates dismissal of Prime Minister Konaković, does it have the required majority?

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The remainder of the SDA Club in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly (six representatives) together with several representatives from SBB, BPS, BOSS and Nermin Bjelak (independent representative) have requested the convening of an emergency session of the KS Assembly to vote on the dismissal of Prime Minister Elmedin Konaković and his Government.

The signatories of the request are Mirza Čelik, Sabahudin Delalić, Hamed Aljović, Amar Dovadžija, Safet Mešanović, Fikret Prevljak from SDA, Dževad Rađo, Selma Filipović, Rasim Lakota from SBB, Haris Pleho, Rasim Smajić from BOSS, Semir Halilović from BPS and Nermin Bjelak.

The SDA Club was earlier left by Kemal Ademović, Elvedin Okerić, and judging by the signatures on the request, Eldar Čomor, Muhamed Kozadra and Amor Mašović have also done so.

The request states that Konaković "by his actions has lost the trust of the party that proposed him, as well as the trust of the parliamentary majority in the KS Assembly."

The request for convening an emergency session of the Assembly does not include any signatory from Naša stranka, and earlier President Predrag Kojović said that their five representatives will not support Konaković remaining in the position of prime minister.
