Crisis Staff warns KS citizens to avoid travel to countries with an increased number of infections

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Crisis Staff of the KS Ministry of Health for monitoring and analyzing the situation caused by the new coronavirus warns citizens of Sarajevo Canton to avoid traveling to neighboring countries, as well as to all those where there has been a significant increase in the number of coronavirus infections recently.

Members of the Crisis Staff call on all persons from Sarajevo Canton who have stayed in endangered countries in the last 14 days to be particularly careful and responsible, to monitor the appearance of possible symptoms, and to reduce all their contacts to the minimum possible.

In case of symptoms of acute respiratory illness with elevated temperature, general malaise, dry cough, loss of taste and smell, it is necessary to immediately report to the competent health service.

In this regard, the Crisis Staff once again calls on all our fellow citizens to responsibly implement all prescribed public health measures, primarily the mandatory wearing of protective masks, hand hygiene with warm water and soap, maintaining the prescribed distance of at least 1.5 meters, and constant ventilation of the spaces they occupy.

The Crisis Staff says that all this is necessary for the epidemiological situation in our canton to remain favorable, as it is currently thanks to the well-implemented public health measures by our citizens.

They also emphasize that these measures must continue to be adhered to, and insisted upon.
