
(Patria) - The Crisis Staff of Livno Canton early this morning withdrew the controversial order which stated that citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are banned from entering the territory of that canton. Namely, as stated on the official website of the Government of Livno Canton, during the continuation of the 5th emergency session of the Civil Protection Staff of Livno Canton, an Order was adopted repealing Order number: 11-01-40-62/20 of March 22, 2020.
"This Order repeals the Order on the prohibition of entry of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the territory of Livno Canton," it is stated in the decision to repeal the order.
In the continuation of the statement, it is said that the Cantonal Civil Protection Staff of Livno Canton adopted Order number: 11-01-40-62/20 upon the proposal of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Labor, Health, Social Welfare and Displaced Persons of Livno Canton and the proposal of the profession in the function of protecting the population of Livno Canton from the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and had no other connotations, especially not political ones.
"We expect from higher levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina to urgently take concrete measures to assist the health system of Livno Canton and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus pandemic!," they added.
